Really Excited to finally own a Tige

We finally found the boat we wanted and picked it up last weekend. Really excited to finally own a Tige. We found this 2007 RZ2 250 miles from where we live. I think it was worth the 1000 miles we drove over 2 trips to get it. Always stored indoors and it only had 66 hours on it. Boat is in amazing condition for its age. Compression check came back flawless. Had the dealer put a scope on it to show me there was no rust due to lack of use. The previous owner was the original owner who always had it services and only used it on holidays a few times a year. I think we found a great boat and I can't wait to start using it. Mike over at MLA has been a great help and has already put in a order for the new custom ballast bags for it.

        Very nice boat.

I still can't fathom how someone can spend that much on a boat and only put 66 hours on it in 7 years...

I hope you get more use out of it!

Along that, I bought an 07 with around 140 hours that was used on holidays only and was trashed. They used it abused it covered it a let the mold grow!! Took me an entire summer to get it to like new. So great to see they took care of it at least.

That's just sad... Hopefully you got a good deal on it!

I am still patiently waiting for your prop findings lol

Congrats. Super clean boat. Agree with others that is seems bizarre to drop that kind of money on a boat and only use it that little.

Congratulations and welcome to the site. If you need help getting familiar with your boat we're on Lake LBJ in Kingsland and Marble Falls area. We have a RZ2 and would be glad to help you as we used to own a 2007 22VE.

Thanks Robert. We have some fiends who have a house on LBJ so I'm sure we will be out there from time to time. Most of our use will be out on Lake Georgetown since we are about 20 minutes from driveway to water. Cant wait to get the ballast installed in this so we can start surfing behind it.

It is a shame when boats don't get used! So much time was spent making that beauty and it is meant to be on he water! Congrats on the new whip and welcome to the site!
