    21v Tower Options

I know what companies (for the most part) make towers for my boat and it seems the general consensus is Samson is the best out there. I have found a few posts the say Samson can build the tower to fit in the stock holes.

Does anyone else know if any of the other tower manufactures make a tower that can fit in the stock holes of a 21v? I ask this because I'm having a custom cover made for the boat and it's measurements are based off the stock tower placement...I'm not in the market to replace the tower this year but will definitely be looking to upgrade within the next couple of years...just trying to do my homework to put a funding plan together for all my upgrades....

    thanks!

I put an Indy tower on my 01 2100v. Went right in the old holes and we like it a lot. Solid tower and was easy to install as well. new tower.JPGIMG_0209.jpg

        Dav,

I took a look at the INDY towers and they do seem really nice...It looks like you went with the Pro2? Any reason you went with that one over the Pro? The Pro is on sale right now for $500...I could get the Pro w/ the additional side bars for less than the Pro2...Does having the second bar across the top provide that much more structural integrity?

Pro Tower (single bar on top)

        Pro2

If I got the original Pro I would get the side bars to go with it....would this be sufficiently sturdy? It will have 2 Pro60's, a bimini, and 2 racks on it eventually...

I don't know if it is any more sturdy or not. We just liked having the 2nd bar on top for our set up. I think they are basically the same set up until the top. The only deal i would watch out for on the side bars is that if you are going into your old holes, the side bars might not sit like you want them to.

I am running Big Air Towers, Cost is Cheap and I love mine. Although I am not sure you will find one that fits in the same mounting holes. Couldn't hurt to call with your dimensions.

Well, I showed the wife a few of the posts about the tower breaking and it convinced her that we need to update that part of the boat before we start getting family/friends out on it. I couldn't justify the Samson (albeit you guys might be saying "I told you so" in the future")....We decided to go with the Indy Pro w/bimini and bimini rack (for the tube)...

Once everything comes in and I put it on the boat I'll post pics and a review....thanks for all the input!!
