I was told my original prop was a "high attitude (sic) prop Acme 1633"... which isn't a legitimate Acme #. It might have been a 1433 or 1617 (high altitude).

    1617 14" x 13.75"
    1433 14" x 14.25"
    537 13.5" x 16"
I'm thinking the smaller diameter is what's causing the "jet thrust" feel (instead of feeling really hooked up). I recently drove a couple of other tournament boats and didn't notice that feel. On the other hand, maybe this boat performs better with that kind of feel.

I'll keep using my R20 this way for now and then get a different spare prop that I can compare with.

    Thx.

The 1433 is a good prop. I just replaced my 537 with a 1433 on my 2014 Z1 and it does a great job.

The 537 has long been the standard prop for Tige V-drive boats with the 1.46:1 gear. A "high altitude" prop for sure be one that was a drop in pitch (the 2nd number) and is almost always an upgrade to a wake boat, regardless of your lakes elevation. So, if they when back to the 537, that is certainly a downgrade

The 1433 is a solid prop upgrade to the 537, and the 1617 would be a little more aggressive.

I'm quite pleased... First time out with a GPS and top speed is actually 44.5 mph (not the indicated 39).

So, can the R20 speedos be calibrated?
