Is the 343 enough motor in the rzr?

Looking at a leftover RZR with he 343 motor in it....how does this boat do with that motor vs the 5.7 engine? Im prepared to order the 15 R20 today, but found a leftover 14 without VX and the 343 motor.

I believe that the 343 is the 5.7L engine. My RZ2 has the same, and it's never left me thinking I need more.

The PCM's were horsepower numbers. The indmar is rated on torque numbers. Torque is what you really want in a wakeboat. The 335 is the std. Engine for 2014 and you had a 355 as an option as well as the 415. Both the 335 and the 355 were 5.7 litre. Whereas the 415 was a 6.0 litre.

The 343 is more than enough. Problem with what you are saying is the last year PCM or a 343 were offered was 2013. 2014 would have an indmar with 335 or 350 hp.

PCM is PLENTY in my 2013 Z3. I run nearly 4,000lbs on the surf side with a 1235. Stays about 3,000rpm at 11.8mph and still gets 5gph. We normally ride between 300 and 3000 feet elevation.

Heck, we have a 24Ve and run more ballast than most people and my EX343 never leaves us wanting. In a little 20 footer it will be MORE than enough.

I have a customer with a 13 RZR with 343 that runs 2900lbs of ballast and she gets the job done!
