    Anyone Slalom behind 24ve?

I used to competitively slalom ski and have moved from a tournament boat to wakeboard boat and now looking at getting a 24ve (or Malibu 23lsv) mostly for wake surfing. Will I be able to
occasionally go for a slalom ski and enjoy it on the 24ve with TAPS or will the wake be too beefy? I was able to enjoy skiing behind our last boat which was an 02 MC xstar. Sorry Mods, also posted this
question in the slalom forum but no responses yet and I have a line on a low hour 24ve that I need to decide on asap.

Any chance of getting a pull behind the boat before you buy?

We occasionally pull a skier behind our 24Ve. Certainly not as smooth as a DD dedicated ski boat, but they always seem to have a lot of fun. Just tune the ballast and TAPS for minimum wake. We use a little forward ballast and then tune the plate.

Brrrr...still pretty damn cold up here. You are right though, I should get a pull.

Not sure where you're at? Your info doesn't say.
Maybe borrow a drysuit from someone or maybe a member, near you, can help out? Heck, I would buy one if I were investing in a boat you are unsure that it will fill your needs. They are around $400. Could be a good investment?

A wetsuit might be easier to come by and less expensive, but it depends on how cold it is where you're at.

Had our new-to-us 24ve on the water for the first time today and went for a slalom ski...enjoyable ski for such a big boat. It is going to be just fine for me, especially given how well it will surf and carry the load of people that we usually have out with us. I posted photos of our new boat in the pictures and videos forum.
