Span messages after posting new threads????

Anyone else experience this??

lately after posting a new thread I receive a private message thru this site I get a BS message that appears to be spam or a computer virus?

here is the last one I received.

Are you guys getting SPAM messages from just this user, Dalasma or are there multiple users? As for now I have deleted the user Dalasma. My guess is that something or someone is trying to exploit a security flaw in this forum software. Most likely they are trying to expose weak passwords for registered members.

Randy joined in 5/06, has never posted and has a 2200V. Sounds like actual user accounts hacked by spammers.

Thats exactly what it is. Most likely weak passwords. It should be taken care of now.

FYI - got a forum message that someone tried to login to my account yesterday and attempted with wrong password too many times.
came from IP address: 46.28.110.136
