Picked the boat up from the dealer this past weekend!! Actually the dealer was nice enough to deliver to me. Everything looked great. The current cover has the contraption where it attaches to the tower and you cinch it tight in the stern to pull the cover up. Dealer showed me how to tighten this right before he left. Towed the boat a few hours, got to my destination, then the back strap was loose. It appears some wires were holding the line that was holding the cover tight. Does this seem correct?

I would say not that is not correct, there should have been another piece of rope with a clip on it. -
That's what I was thinking however I'm not sure what a non-defective one looks like therefore have nothing to compare it to. They will be sending me a new one hopefully soon.Comment

It pretty much is the same rope with a loop on each end and a snap clip that clips on the pulley. Sorry no pic my boat is in storage.Comment
