Synteak Floors? 4 Speakers vs. 2?

Ordering a new Z3 and considering the synteak floor. I think it looks great, but unsure about how well it will hold up? Stains? Hot in the summer?

Anybody have any experience with these floors?

Also- considering the 4 tower speakers but not sure if it would be a "head-knocker"?

    Thanks!

I ordered my Z3 with both Synteak and decadence. Just in case. I love the look of the Synteak. When I talked to the regional Tige rep he said decadence is nearly indestructible, however the Synteak Is a very close second.

I am 6'1" and think the 4 speakers are head knockers.

4 Tower speakers will be a head knocker, but I can guarantee you will only do it once! I love having 4 rev10 on mine and wouldn't have it any other way. You will get used to the location of them after a few trips out and wont notice the low height IMO. The nice thing is you can always add speakers later if the tower is pre wired if you are uncertain.

For the floor, I would suggest going with both the SeaDek (SynTeak) and the Deckadence. We had this set up, except the SeaDek was gray, in our Z1 and loved it. We loved it so much that we are working with our dealer and Deckadence to get Deckadence added to our current boat that only has the SeaDek. If you have the Deckadence, you will most likely always leave it in, it drains, dries quick, stays fairly cool and is "soft" underfoot. The SeaDek looks nice but does not feel as nice underfoot. If you tend to brink a lot of sand into your boat, then you may opt to take out the Deckadence and just leave the floor.

Regarding tower speakers - I have a love hate with them. If we were to custom order a boat again, I would probably leave them off. We only really use out tower speakers when anchored to hear the music outside the boat when hanging out. I personally think it is obnoxious to be blasting music across the lake for everyone to hear that is trying to enjoy their day. That said, the REVs are head knockers. We had 2 on our Z1 (outside location) and I would often hit my head when standing up from the helm, I would have hated to have additional ones in the middle. For volume and sound, I personally think that 2 would be fine. Our current boat, we actually have coaxial speakers on the tower and I like this, as they provide enough volume for surfing and still sound decent when hanging out.

Keep in mind that everyone has their own goals. Maybe I am getting old, but blasting the music across the lake is just not my thing.

I'm with Dandy. Get enough speakers to be comfortable in the boat, and perhaps while surfing. That is enough. I am 6'2" and am very happy not to have the extra pair to whack my head on. I already hit my head enough on the one above the driver's seat.

I have a Z3 with two sets of rev10's. I am 6'2" and haven't had any issues cranking my head off them. We really only surf with the boat and absolutely love the sound out of them !!!

A pair of Rev10s suitably powered provides a lot of great sound! And then you don't have that inner pair getting in the way.

I ordered our Z3 with Synteak and 4 Rev 10s. Synteak because its nice and clean, easy to dry.... 4 Rev 10s because It looks better than 2 lol. 2 Rev 10s properly powered will be more than enough!

Synteak cleans really easy, and it's not hot at all. Also, if you ride at night. It's not cold because it doesn't get wet like carpet.

I got the synteak and the 4 rev 10s. 2 rev 8s with 2 Rev 10s is a waste of money and space, you may as well get 4 rev 10s.
