Storage Hydrolic Canisters for Holding Hatch open

Cuurrently have troubles with the rear storage hatches and motor hatch staying open. Can i get bigger and better hydrolic canister thingies lol dont know exactly what it is called.

You can get replacements at most auto parts stores. They should have different lengths and strengths. Take one of yours off and take it with you. I've found them at Napa and AutoZone.

They do make marine-specific ones that use more stainless parts. Might be worth making sure you get those.

Are the just old and worn out? If so, buy the same lifting force. SPD Hardware are what is installed in my boat and they are very nice. Expensive when compared to others but stainless and again very nice. www.spdhardware.com. If cost is a major concern then try www.liftsupportsdepot.com. they have a large selection and some stainless too. Be sure to install them so that gas shock is on the top. Allows for the oil in the cylinder run down and lubricate shaft and seals when open (last longer).
