Is this likely going to take place at temple again? Wanting to fill in other activities, so interested in where we will be for the event, for logistical reasons.

I think since in a few days I will be an official Tige' Owner, and with John and everyone being some awesome allowing Jenn and I to be apart of the reunion the last few years I would like to give back if I can. I am in the same situation as H20sk8er00 with work but I will do whatever I can Mike and I might be able to tag team this if John can give some insight into the sponsors at the best way to go about it.

Quick note.....I have very little capacity this year for any planning. I did talk to the dealership and asked them to participate but need to follow up as time is flying Jim reminded us all of! Tige will of course sponsor and they are always good for getting Wet Sounds and ACME to help as well. I have a list of sponsors from years past that I can share but would like to stay organized in the sense that multiple people aren't calling the same people asking for donations. Ultimately, this would be best done by the sponsoring dealer so the vendors don't see it as individuals calling trying to get free ****! If you are interested in helping, call me and we can start the ball moving again.

As for location, we looked at Lake Mojave a month or so ago and it had some real potential. Especially with the ever dropping lake level! A few others can chime in on that, just not sure about the water temp, availability of rooms or anything else since it would be a first! Sorry TA....if it changes I'm sure you can cancel with enough heads up......

I also would vote for cottonwood at mohave. As for sponsors, I'm sure we'd all hang out without them but marketing is not my strong suit, I drag my knuckles and change oil. I also suggest that we (either myself or a group of us) do the cooking on Saturday night because I can promise way better table fare, way less expense and a more toothy smile. Thoughts?

No worries from my end on reservations. I can cancel them easily. And I am happy hanging with the other owners without any prizes.

As far as participation, the "local dealership" SHOULD be putting much more effort into the event. I don't think that's too much to expect. I believe they are represented here on TO as they have reported selling a couple new boats to So Cal owners. Hopefully they will chime in. Cottonwood looked like it would support a sizable group during the April TO spring event. Cory, I would be down to provide/help smoke if you wanted to. An aside, I had to save a beautiful brisket this weekend when the smoker crapped out halfway through. Turned out great

Unfortunately, Offshore will not be participating this year per my conversation with Shane Monday night. I would ask that if you have any questions or concerns as to why, you direct them to Shane (General Manager) at Offshore #702-567-0990. I also think some direct interaction from members would help them get more involved in events such as this or a Demo Day, Pro Day, etc.

On to the reunion planning.....!!

I think Mojave/Cottonwood sounds awesome and cooking our own fare is the way to go. I would even go as far as saying we should rent a few RV spots together and use that as our party area or even as a back up spot if the public spots aren't up to par or available. Dan and I did this in April and it worked well, if we had multiple spots it could be a real hoot! The RV spots are also close to the hotel and restaurant and only a short walk from the docks as well. We are in for helping cook and chipping in on the food for sure!

Does this mean we are all in for Mojave/Cottonwood on Sept. 19th?

Wonder how accurate booking.com is, I just called Forever Resorts to check availability - they also confirmed they were booked for that weekend. I went ahead and booked it though Jim... corssing my fingers!

We will camp so if there are limited rooms others can have them. I will call the hotel later today and see what their actual availability is and if we can hold the rest of the rooms.
