    What is it worth

Hi am new to the forum. I am looking for a bigger boat and there is an 02 23v for sale close by. Don't have much information. But the owner said that it was nice and kept inside. He did mention there was no ballast and the cruise needed a new cable to work. Just looking for some insight before I see the boat. I posted a link to the add and thanks in advance.

my buddy bought an 05 22v with 200 hours on it with a basic stereo and no ballast for 27k this october. The 22V and 23V seem quite sought after.. I would think you could get it for 19....

I was thinking 18 to 19 range because of age and work needed to make it completely functional.

Looks like a decent deal to me. The upholstery has been redone, the tower replaced, the stereo upgraded, and perfect pass installed (even if it needs a new cable). 500 hrs is appropriate for its age and nothing to worry about so long as the maintenance has been done. 21K is just the asking price so I am sure you will get it for less. We love our 23v, it fits a ton of people and gear no problem. Surf wave is nice too.

Thanks for the replies. Talked to the owner again and he doesn't want to get it out for another month so that it doesn't have to be winterized again. So I guess I will take a look then if I haven't found something else.

That sounds like a owner who doesn't want to sell the boat. If it was kept in a garage like I believe I read . Just drain the block (2 plugs) manifolds (2 plugs) and Trans cooler and your done. On the other hand you "may" buy it.

I boat on the same lake as this boat and have seen it out a few times over the years but haven't looked closely enough at it to be able to give a condition report. From a distance it looks to be a good boat. It will be in the 70s here all week so perhaps you could talk him into a test or at least a showing? I think we will be out next weekend with our boat so who know I might see you on the water.
                Where you located?

I'm from Pratt. He said he wouldn't even put it out on Wilson anymore because it's too low. We go to coldwater which is great during the week but way too crowded on the weekends.

Maybe its just me and i'm used to our inflated prices in Canada, but that boat seems like a pretty good deal. All it really needs is a new PP cable and a few fatsacs and your ready to go. Looks like a pretty nice boat to me.
