    22ve pricing to sell

looking like I'm going to sell the 22ve and want to get a general opinion on pricing.
'12 22ve. approx 65hrs or so iirc. the black on the hull is metalflake, but subtle. graphics are pink and have a full replacement set. heater, shower, bow filler(never used), windblock, tow cover, bimini, rear sundeck filler(never used), huge stereo consisting of 3 batteries(2 deepcycle and 1 starting with tige switching), 4-icon 8's, 6 inboat ws650's, jl 12w6, exile zld, 3 arc amps totalling 2k+ watts, added a second remote next to drive and wired stereo outside tigetouch(still works within) however can have boat completely off and stereo still works. upgraded regular side chp ballast with additional 1" fill/drain pumps for a total of 4 pumps. swivel samson racks that are set up each side to surf/surf. upgraded tige lighting includes all led interior/tower lighting but no transom light. snapout carpet looks brand new. boat was waxed yearly and cleaned after every outing. interior has been cleaned after every outing with babes or 303.

    the bad:
tower has a couple of small knicks where the black paint has flaked off. not noticeable but there. interior has 2 or 3 small blems in the upholstery, no tears at all and if I didn't show them to you, wouldn't notice them. has one small 1/2" hairline crack at one of the front cleets from removing the shrinkwrapped tow cover moving to wisconsin. the box knife I was cutting the straps to the cover with hit the gel. also has a small, approx size of a ball point pen tip piece missing on the lower running surface. guessing I hit a stick or something. happened in '13 and has not changed all last year.

    the awful:
trailer is a pos. from metalcraft in slc ut. not sure of the finish but towing to wisconsin has it starting to surface rust. not sure why as it's stored all winter and was not salty when I got here but nonetheless, was quoted 1.7-1.9k from a local paintshop that does trailers to mediablast it and refinish. there are NO rust holes or issues, it's all surface at this point but needs to be done in the next 1-2 years.

I need 54k. that price would be firm as it would be getting me out of it. figured the net is 56 once someone takes care of the trailer. would come with bumpers/ropes and some other odds/ends.

thoughts? again, not 100% but will know end of week/first of next. NOT buying another one so this isn't to upgrade. love the surfwave off this boat and wouldn't trade up to the newer boats as at double the cost, don't think the surfwave would get 2x better

    boat on delivery day:

    boat now.

Like the graphic update, I think your pricing is spot on.

You are below the Nada (60k) and your price seems reasonable. an 10 22ve sold locally from the dealer for 52k cad with 100ish hours.. So i think your on the money. Good time of year to sell as well!

      Good luck

I paid 44K CDN for my 09 last year with 216hrs

a 10 just went for about 52K CDN a week or so back.

I think you should be able to get all that you need out of it and more. I suppose it really comes down to how bad some of things you noted are. On the plus side it doesn't really have any hours on it.

          Wow! What a jewel!

I been on this forum for a few years now and always thought your 22 Ve was one of the best boats out there - all the modern conveniences with that awesome Ve shape. You are going to make someone very happy with that boat, just sad to see it go!

not sure yet, but thinking it's probably got to find a new home. issues are really minor and shows like a brand new boat. trailer is the only sore thumb and a cheap fix at that. honestly, someone with a lift that uses a trailer 2x yearly could go years without doing anything to it..

and ya, the pic is not great. the pink really does look great....

I am notoriously tight on budgets for boats, and I think that would be a good deal. If I were in the market for 'best boat under 55K', I would strongly consider it!
Good luck with everything, and hope you get back on the water quickly.
              Be excellent to one another.

You know what the market is like here. Not sure about where your at now. I would ask mid 60s and go from there. Glws if you decide to. Somebody is getting a sweet boat.
