I'm in desperate need of a boat cover for my 22ve and found one for sale on CL. Problem is, it was for a Z1. Based on the pictures the tower is VERY similar to mine but would the overall boat just be too different? It says it's 22 ft in the ad and from the spec sheet, some of the early Z1s were 21.5 ft. Not sure of the year this cover came off of. What say you??

The Z1 is a 100" beam and the Ve is 102. I think thats going to be the real issue. Thats and the tower leg opening if its not the same E series tower.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Iwndr - I had Kistler make a cover for my last boat and they did a great job. I was going to have them make me another one if I couldn't fine one on CL. The one I found that was on this Z1 was only $250 an they said they'd ship it to me and if it didn't fit they'd give me full refund, however, I'm not sure it's worth all the fuss."Charlie don't surf"

I have one from this company and it's decent: http://www.westlandcovers.com/
It also only took about 4 days to get it! It has a weird system to secure it but I swapped it out for $40 and made it work like the factory cover did with the ratchets and buckles.

EDIT: Here's the link to the company making factory covers: http://commercialsewing.com/Tige-DealerDirect.pdf

I guess I would need the measurement from the tip of the bow to the windshield to see if it's even close. I probably wouldn't matter if the windshield to the transom if I'm already going to be adding a foot of material. Probably not worth it though as it might end up looking like an old quilt covering my boat."Charlie don't surf"
