This is the dimension of the "larger" bags straight from Tige engineering...

This volume of the sack 25000 Cubic inches of water. 25000 cu in of water does not equate to 1200 lbs...
If I am understanding the diagram correctly, it looks as if they are either cross draining or venting, but not both.

They are cross draining but not venting. That is solved very easily with either a Check or routing hosing a touch higher underneath the deck

I have had my bow sacs in and out. They definatley don't fill the entire space. I think they are close to the 550 per side as advertised.

You can check them out when you help me !

Well yours work a lot better than mine then. Mine fill in 2:30. If you do the math it is far less than the advertised 400lbs. But isn't yours that 3/4" hose also?

JohnnieMo have you stuck your head up in the bow to look at how the sacs are laid out? I was dealing with a few issues last year with mine and finally took the time last week to work on them. I ended up cutting in an access panel up under the furthest forward bow seat to gain the access needed to pull the bags around. The bags were over-lapped and we're not in the proper position but with a little finesse I was able to get them in the correct position and am confident it solved my issue on the filling.

Have you actually attempted to capture the drain flow in a bucket to see apx how many gallons come out? pain in the arse i know.

How much do the bags expand when full? Probably not several hundred pounds worth but there is some definite distortion of bags when you fill them.

JohnnieMo - I had the same issue with my front bags last season and after I pulled off the access panels I saw why. The bags do move around in there and mine were twisted and flopped over on each other. I used my adjustable aluminum dock hook and was able to seperate them. The next time out they took around 8 minutes to fill. This may be your issue. I like the idea of cutting in an access port in the front as it is a pain to go through the storage locker.

I found it almost to be impossible to reach without actually crawling up to get the bags pulled forward and talk about a tight squeeze! I was able to pull my bags not only further forward but also straightened out the bags and pulled them up on the walls too!

Nick, what did you use to remove the factory rivits? I want to make sure I got all the tools I need when I head down to do mine.

I investigated earlier this winter and decided they were laid out as good as one could expect. My plan was to test this spring. Doing the test in the garage just isn't doable.

If others with the Z1 can get 4min then I must have an issue.

Tell me more about where to cut this hole and how. Pics?
