I have recently switched to the 2247 from the 1235 that came stock on the '14 ASR. I would highly recommend this prop. It fixed the cavitation issues during take off and improved the hole shot and the top end significantly. The motor in the '14 is the GM LS3, which has similar properties (HP and torque) to the 440 Raptor.
I noticed a significant improvement in fuel consumption. Wakeboarding at 23 mph used to require 4,200 rpm, now requires about 3,500 rpm.
Note that I am in Houston, Texas with an elevation of like 10' LOL.

It helped the most when taking off fully ballasted. The engine would rev, the boat would shake, but not really go anywhere - it really felt like the prop was losing contact with the water and free spinning. Now it hooks up and is on plane very quickly. The time it takes to get on plane fully loaded is now probably half of what it used to be. The engine does not have to maintain the 4000+ rpm to get it to plane anymore - and it went from 3/4 throttle to 1/2 throttle coming out of the hole.

The 1/2 inch increase in diameter along with more cup should make a drop of 200 to 400 rpm at the same speed, it sounds like you also may have had a damaged/bent blade on your 1235 to have cavitation and vibration.
The 1235 hooked up great on the Z3 and I had no noticeable cavitation with the original small diameter 537.
The 2247 sounds like the all around winner, what top speed did you get with it?

900 in each rear corner, 2900lbs is what you get ... If you get information to prove otherwise I would be happy to see itLast edited by Greeko; 03-17-2015, 07:42 PM.

Greeko - Our Z3 is supposed to go into production in the next few days.
I told my dealer that if the boat comes with less than the SurfXL or the sacs are smaller than wake9 I do not want them. Give me a credit for the sacs and I will buy from Wake9. I have the phone number to the Tige Regional guy. I can call him and clarify."You're rather attractive for a beautiful girl with a great body."
