Very interesting and great job. We have wondered for quite a while why boat companies weren't using a tablet.
We had an idea/question for you, could i bring my tablet with my songs and my settings and plug it into your boat? Then I would have a "portable wave"."Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted....the problem is I don't know which half."

It would be easy to transfer settings from someone's portable device. The videos even discuss coming up with great ideas involving the wireless interfaces (as do the patents, BTW). Step on the boat, pair the Bluetooth, transfer, and you're ready. Or, dial in the wave/wake the way you like it and save it on YOUR phone for the next time (in case the owner doesn't keep it around).
We've also thought about making it a portable file format, so folks could post and share their settings. Lots of fun possibilities.

I think I will wait to buy the Hydrophase Ridesteady for a couple weeks.....are you gonna tell us as soon as you reach a deal? Or, maybe I would need the cruise control anyway so go ahead and install?!Last edited by dakota4ce; 02-19-2015, 02:26 AM.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like bananas!

Tige should buy this
and put it in their boats. This would shut up the people who are
complaining that Tige is behind the times without a surf system. This
would put them so far ahead of everyone else.

Here is a random question:
Do boat companies like Tige have a lot of capital? Do they make money? Do they make lots of it?
Has to be somewhat of a tough/tight business I would think, very capital intensive and economy dependent. Just curious if making capital investments like this awesome wake system are in the cards for all of them. These guys deserve to sell for lots of cha-ching!Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like bananas!

so it sounds like your selling this tech off to the highest bidder, and not selling to individuals?
my question is, what if you dont have enough ballast weight, to compensate for passengers and where they are sitting? I would still think you might have to move people around?
I wish I could just have a unit to measure list in my tige touch. that would help alot.

All other systems basically "guess" at restoring previous settings, because they're measuring the wrong things. The same trim and ballast settings do NOT give you the same wave unless everything else about your boat is identical - same people, sitting in the same places without moving, same rider behind the boat, same gear, same fuel level, etc. Anything that changes the balance or depth of the hull in the water affects your waves and wakes, but older systems aren't measuring the hull so they don't know about such changes and cannot compensate for them. AutoWake DOES measure the hull and DOES compensate to keep the hull where you want it, thus restoring the same wave/wake.
Hope that clears things up, thanks!

That's why we think this is such an attractive opportunity. We have eliminated the risk and uncertainty for them. The technology ALREADY works. The patent claims are ALREADY issuing. This package is real, it's here today, it can be purchased for a known fixed price and then they own it, free and clear, and totally control it thanks to the ~17 years of patent life.
For what one of these companies spends on advertising that goes away in a week, month, or year, they can buy a legally-protected advantage that will last them 17 years and the risk and uncertainty is already over. Deals like that don't come along very often. Some smart player in this industry will realize that and take advantage of it. And the rest of them will look back and wish they had done it themselves. 17 years of advantage is a VERY long time in this industry!Last edited by IDBoating; 02-19-2015, 04:02 PM.
