I have a 14 Z3 with the stock prop not sure what that is. With my supercharged 555hp motor and perfect conditions with low gas I can get close to 60mph. This is with some people in the boat and the conditions were making the boat start to porpoise.
I am curious about what prop is on your boat, is that the same prop you use also to surf and run full ballast?

bump--- any new z3 owners done a prop switch yet or heard from acme or dealer on a different prop? I know we discussed a lot on another thread but couldn't find it. Getting close to season for me so wanna be prepared.

I'm still planing on swapping to the 2247 after looking hard into it, my boat is in but the weather sucks right now.

Having difficulty getting a confirmation on the propeller swap thru tige??

I will use my old 1235 in the mean time.

In the 90,s all we cared about was going fast, how times have changed.

My last offshore catamaran was 50ft and broke 100mph.
            Money pit!!!

Let me know how it runs, I would be curious to see how it does for surfing with a full load of people

will post up when time allows for sure as I know many are curious. WOT is around 5200 rpm and top end was 33.5-35mph max this past weekend on glass water with the stock 2419. The 2247 has to be an improvement in that range but am skeptical about the hole shot and surf results with it.

Hope to be out this weekend if weather allows.

The 2419 is working great on our boat, and ACME is sending me another to test, will report on that soon.

Acme sent me one also and i sent them $550 in exchange!! HAHA What # did they send and yes please keep us posted on your findings. I slalom ski quite a bit so want the best of all worlds I can get that is out of this boat and prop setup. 34mph is not worthy of anything IMO

Yes, I have the 2419, which is stock with the Surf XL package and so far I love this prop for wakesurfing, have to do more testing for cruise speeds and such. Also amazing for low speed (idle) handling. The prop he is sending me, I haven't seen on the site, so maybe new.

I recently changed to an Acme 2247, 15x14.25. It is still great out of the hole surfing, even with a large group. It is much better for cruising across the lake, doesn't rev as high. 2015 Z3, 400

JCP great news. What it top end speed now? I have a 2247 but have been lucky enough to not bend a prop this year even with low waters. Haven't had the need to change out the 2419.

Anyone try the 1273 (more cup) as a modest improvement to the 1235.
