    acme 2419 prop on a 15 Z3

Just curios if anyone has looked into changing out the stock 2419 prop on the 15 Z3? We have discussed it awhile back but curios if anyone has looked more into it with acme or their dealer? I am pleased with the hole shot and being able to hold accurate surf speed easily, but wouldn't mind a bit more top end for some of the larger lakes we go to. Also would be nice to have a different size for a spare to change out when needed.
I spoke with my dealer at the boat show and it sounds like acme and tige might be looking into another prop option so has anyone else heard this or have any results from another prop. I know awhile back some ppl stated acme didn't want to hear about the changing of the 2419 on the Z3 and maybe they have changed their opinion?

seems like if the 2419 fits, so would the 2315 and 2313. Or step to the 2249, which should give more top end but with a perceptible hit to hole shot.

I have a 2012 Z3 and we run a 1235. I would be interested in some different options to keep similar low end but with more of a top speed than 40mph

I was thinking about the 1235 also as I know many Z3 owners run it, but was hoping someone with the raptor engine had done the modification and could give feedback. I would hate to spend 500+ on a prop and hate it!

I kept my acme 1235 that I had on my 14 Z3, I believe the 15 Z3 I orderd comes with the prop mentioned and is even more of a low end tow prop, I am going to look at some options.
My 2014 did 45mph with the 537 original and 39mph with the 1235

What is the top speed of a 2015 with the Raptor 400 and stock prop?

Tomp My 15 z3 tops at 35.4 on occasion and usually runs mid 34.5 range. I occasionally ski 34 range and this limits that. Id be curios to know what yours will do when you get it and put the 1235 on it. I Looked a bit on acme and was wondering if the 2247 would work as its not much smaller than the 2419 but perhaps enough to gain a few mph and not lose a lot of hole shot.

007 and I get just barely 38 on our '15s. Jeremy if you talk to acme, I'm sure they would let you try something before you had to buy it.

                ^^^^ What he said.

Acme is usually very good about it. Buy from them and they will let you return it within a short time if you find it does not do what you had hoped for.
                Be excellent to one another.

trace I would be happy with 38 and 40 would be better. I know when I got the 35.4mph it was at LOTO and at my local lake 34.5 on glass is max.

Tall I will give acme a call this week see what they think. I know my dealer said acme was in the process of rethinking the use of the 2419 on the z3 with raptor so maybe they will have come up with something.

Chp ive never looked at WOT rpm as it runs low rpm at surf speed and has to be maxed out at top end or at least by engine sound I know it is maxed out. I usually back off a little on top end as its revved more than I like. I know that when they came out with the 2419 on the 15 raptor it was more setup for slow surf speeds and not made for anything above the 30mph range. It is extremely fuel efficient also which they took into consideration also. I just want a happy medium prop and will have to buy and try until I find one.

I have a 14 Z3 with the stock prop not sure what that is. With my supercharged 555hp motor and perfect conditions with low gas I can get close to 60mph. This is with some people in the boat and the conditions were making the boat start to porpoise.

Wow I did not think the boat with a v drive could break 50mph regardless of prop pitch or HP

I know I am going with the 15 diameter but more pich than the standard props 12" pictch, my 14 z3 with 350 hp and 1235 pulled like a tractor with the oversized ballast and vx, also hit 39 mph, the original prop 537 prop on the 14z3 was in the other direction with ok surf ability but hit 44mph.
I assume the raptor should pull the weight with more pitch than the 1235 14.5 x 14.25?
35 mph is way to slow for anything other than surfing.

The gas guage is looking a little blurry there...I bet it was moving fast too at that moment!
