    Boats for sale

I had a long conversation today with highadventure motorsports in slc. I was told if I happened to be on this site to pass the word along if you looking for a new boat and dont mind paying invoice on a new 2014 boat to give them a call so they can sell the 3 or so boats they have left.

I know they have Z3 and an ASR.. not sure about the full inventory.

My experience with Drew, Lance and the team at High adventure as always been great. Thanks Tige is about all i can say ATM. You have made people question what your brand is or what you stand for in question in Utah! Lets just hope Petersen can sell as many boats as they say they can or better yet, lets see if a dealer can keep your Brand in this state for more then 3-4 years if they dont?

So now they are going to Petersen marine? Do they have any experience with inboard boats? This is starting to sound a lot like Vegas...

Does Tige ask their dealerships to have exclusive contracts? It seems I rarely see a Malibu/Tige or Tige/Brand X dealership. They might do better with an established inboard dealer. I know that can create conflicts, but being a one trick pony is also difficult.

              Hyperactive johnny ?

They are 100% separate from what I understand. Absolute and Hyperactive. Pretty sure that marriage went bad.

There was also a dealer north of me that was a Tige and Centurion dealer as well as a pontoon brand. They are no longer a Tige dealer, but I don't think that has to do with carrying multiple brands.

Tige did the same thing here in Minnesota for about 10-15 years prior to the current dealer. It was something crazy like 6 dealers in 8 years. They would pick them up in the spring and no longer be a dealer by mid winter. Some dropped them, some totally went under, I'm sure Tige even dropped some. Prior to the current dealer Tige had 0 presence here. Sad considering this area is one of the largest inboard markets in the US. Have even been told by another local inboard dealer it is the largest.

I stand corrected. They were two separate business who shared space with each other. And it sounds like that is no longer....

Well they (Petersen) used to sell Sanger a awhile back. I just hope Petersen can live up the the numbers they claim they can sell. Because MP and the other SLC dealers seem to have a pretty good hold on the market. this just gives potential buyers that have been looking a reason not too. revolving door for the tige brand. Having gone to the dealers meeting and having it verified Tige corporate people lurk here. let me boldy say. WTF are you doing and yet thanks again. Maybe if you enforced your territories as you claim some of this could have been avoided. I had the privilege of drinking cocktails with Charlie Pigeon, and got to hear how Tige started first hand, and after a few he tells it pretty damn straight. But I have to say some of the people below him need to wake the F up.

Do you have strong evidence that many Tige owners along the Wasatch Front have purchased their boats out of territory? I would think the revolving door dealership thing would drive people more away from the brand, not to another territory.

Travism and Johnnie that split is great for Hyperactive as long as they get a good service department to take care of their customers. Do you know who they are using now for service and warranty work? Sorry for the hijack wakerideN but this is the first I have heard of Hyperative/Absolute not working together anymore

I don't have the insider information that you have but as a consumer I would think it would be better for dealers to be more in line with other dealers price wise as a way to keep customers. Actual Tige pricing and if a dealer wants to raise their prices then let the consumer shop other dealers that don't raise the prices (unless they really love that dealer and are willing to pay a higher price). It is interesting to see the huge gap from one dealer to another. If I was forced to pay a substantial amount more because I had to shop at a higher priced dealer I would start brand shopping. It took a while for auto dealers in Utah to realize that many are headed to Kellogg because they could get the same thing for a lot less and with less hassle. Just my

All I know is Hyperactive moved their bay/showroom to Chestermere. I think they are running their own shop now.

My comment on that is just Tige not really backing High Adventure and allowing that to go on further breaking down the dealer and Tige's relationship. I agree on the move after move comment as well.
