Why is the site being spammed by this "Vdemmpower" guy?

I have read that something like 1/3rd of all internet traffic is just computers surfing the net trying to find something for their programmers. Obviously this one is not doing anything of much value for us or his creator.

Tried but apparently my attempt was interpreted as spam, because it didn't show up! The guy has taken control of the site!

Not sure about that, but I do know that 1/3rd of all Internet traffic is NetFlix streaming video. As a parttime ISP operator, I can tell you that streaming video is a network manager's nightmare.

Now five, didn't see the error message initially. Is there a ranking system that blocks his account after X number of infractions from unique user ID's? Something tells me this guy/robot doesn't care about our comments or downvotes, it's going to take proactive action to block him....

I have removed the bot. It was just spamming the site. I cant stand spammers!

Thank you! We get the occasional "Apple iPads for next to nothing!" advertisements, but this one was out of control - hitting almost every forum and thread. Crazy!
