    Storage in Las Vegas?

Anybody have a line on storage options in Las Vegas? Prefer the west side, looking for a 24x12 unit with a high door. Thanks.

I would also be curious about this. Been thinking of taking the boat down from Calgary at the end of the summer and leaving it in heated storage, then flying down and doing some riding during our winter months !

TeamAllen leaves his boat in Boulder, right outside of Vegas (actually closer to the lake). I don't know exactly where, but he has been happy with it. It is enclosed, but I don't think it is heated. 98% of the time that would not be an issue, but it would have been a big issue last winter, it was much colder than usual.

      Send TA a message.

Cool idea! I'll come help you

But do you really need "heated" storage in Vegas?

It depends on if you drain the block, or if you like to gamble. Not draining the block would have led to a gamble and lose situation last year. I think other years there would not be a problem.

Quite a few people store there boats in Boulder....and I doubt indoor storage would ever actually get cold enough to freeze the block.

We use Storage Plus in Boulder City(1553 Foothill Dr, 702-293-3115). Always pay for 12 months and get a free month. I believe the unit is 11'X35' with a 10'X14' roll up door right around $185 a month.

Boulder Boat Storage is where I've had mine stored. Joanne is the greatest manager! You can tell her I sent you. It won't get either of us anything, but she knows me and it can't hurt to drop a name.

They have big doors so you can leave your tower up. They have electricity in each unit, but I wouldn't rely on running a heater all winter. They are not insulated. I just drain my block at the end of the season. There are some big drive through units there for RVs as well as smaller units. They were sold individually in the beginning, but the ones that weren't sold are now rented out. You might even be able to find one to purchase from an owner?

Good luck and let me know if you have anymore questions.
