Ok....now I'm really done

now I'm really done for the year. Was on call all weekend so got Monday off. Weather report showed 63 degrees and sunny until about noon when the artic bomb was supposed to drop. Calm water, warm air and frigid water as usual. Skied until I could not hold on anymore and got off the water 2 minutes before the artic bomb went off. Temp was 63 degrees with trace wind when we got off the water. 58 degrees with 20+ mph winds 10 minutes later and 38 degrees 20 minutes later when we got back home. It is now 20 degrees and I am quite happy to have my feet by the fire.

I'm impressed! We had a similar day in Denver. Sunny & didn't even need a jacket this morning. 18 degrees & snowing outside now. Dang. Tommy's Cold Water Classic is at Cherry Creek Saturday. We'll see if anybody shows up.

Well yes it is (just double checked). I'm glad you pointed that out. I'd have looked pretty silly this weekend waiting on the dock in my speedo all by myself in 20 degree weather.
