It's like the commercial where a guy orders a pizza while surfing.
1- I don't know anyone who surfs with their phone in the ocean.

This happened with whitewater kayaking a few years back. Ours was a small, quiet, low profile community. Then suddenly it became "cool" and playboating started showing up in ads for beer, cars, and I think even a hair restoration product (!!!).
When something becomes widely recognized as cool, others will co-opt it for their own purposes.Comment
