    Did wakesurfing jump the shark?

In a Dell catalog? Crazy. Looks like it might be an ever carve board.

Oh and for those that don't know what Jumping the Shark is:

It's like the commercial where a guy orders a pizza while surfing.
1- I don't know anyone who surfs with their phone in the ocean.
2- I don't know anyone who decides they need a pizza while surfing a wave and expects it delivered in the ocean.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

        x2!

@ Robert man that commercial seems to be running 24/7 out here.... and the commercial so good I don't even remember, is it for a cell phone carrier? was its a phone? Was it pizza hut's app? Either way, it wasn't very effective on me, I don't even know what they were selling.

It reminds me of the Super Bowl years when the dot coms were buying ads and no one had a clue what the heck they were selling.

This happened with whitewater kayaking a few years back. Ours was a small, quiet, low profile community. Then suddenly it became "cool" and playboating started showing up in ads for beer, cars, and I think even a hair restoration product (!!!).

When something becomes widely recognized as cool, others will co-opt it for their own purposes.
