Today in my internet ramblings I stumbled across one of the greatest things I've ever seen. I had to share. Could this be the future of watersports? I'm sure Tige already has a whole R&D division set apart for this. Enjoy.
I bet that video was behind an aluminum pontoon boat -- the thrum through the hull drives carp up like popcorn.
Back when we rode the Mississipi River (Alton Pool north of dam), carp would sometimes jump. For a few years, I had a custom knee brace from a snowboard injury. The messiest encounter was a BIG carp jumped, hit my knee brace and tore its soft skin -- blood all over, down my leg, in bindings, on board.
I do not miss riding on the river.
PS. never let your riders hook their arm through the handle.
