Well....I think I'm done for the year. Great last day

Good times this summer and fall. Time to put the boat away and start concentrating on the upcoming ski/snowboard season. Here are a few pics from today.

So this is Prospect Lake in downtown Colorado Springs. It is profoundly small. Max of 5 boats on the lake at any one time but that is really 4.5 boats too many. We basically go up and down a few times and then drop and let the water rest. I would not consider even being on the water if there was another boat on it. We only use it during the shoulder seasons when we don't want to travel and we know everybody else's boat is shrink wrapped.

That said, with a drysuit and a neoprene hat, it is quite pleasant and a lot of fun. I would go again this weekend but I am on call and the kids would probably mutiny.....maybe I will leave them at home the weekend after if there isn't any snow in the mountains.

That surf wave looks killer...! What kind of weight are you running in your 2200V?

Do you know who Sheldon is? Runs around that lake with an axis a22?

Haven't really met anyone on the lake as I try and avoid it when others may be on it. Monday is looking pretty good at 67 degrees....I guess I'm not quite ready to quit for the yr.

For weight, just a big bag in the back locker (1100# I think but not totally sure) and about 400 pounds of passengers and me. I think I need about another 300-400 under the port seat and a couple hundred up front. Automated ballast is on my short list for the winter.
