So I just got our boat out on the water today, it has the surf package on it, so I filled the 200 up front surf side, and had a person sitting there, then filled the back all the way and then put my 750 bag on the surf side seats, so had about 1000lbs on that side, also had 1 person sitting on that side. I tried between 10.8 to 12 and taps at 3 and 4 and I just couldn't feel any push, couldn't throw the rope, I kept pumping the board, putting all my weight on my front foot and just couldn't find any sweet spot where I just cruised. I have a lake wake surf board, so it is fast, fast enough that I could throw the rope on my old Yamaha 212x and go rope less.
Now it has been awhile since I surfed, and I had my feet about shoulder width apart, tried sliding forward and backwards on the board, but still could never feel any push, I do plan on upgrading the back sacs, but I had about 1000lbs on that side I feel like I should be able to throw the rope with all of that. Now I've seen tons of vids of people surfing on rz2, so I know the boat can do it but what suggestions do you have for me.
