    Wake surf wave help!!!

    I have a Z3 I am working on my wake surf wave right now it is short but tall. I want to make it longer what do I need to do?

    Bow-1000
    Surf side back -1000
    Taps-4
    10.6mph

    Try speeding up to 11.5-12. You may find you will also need to readjust the TAPS. Add 300-400 on the off surf side.

      Do you have the VX? This makes a big difference in weight. If so, you need more weight.

      Like CHPTHRIL said, add some to the non surf side to give the wave some power. You will want to add some more weight under the bench seat on the surf side and potentially some under the front locker to dial in the length.

      Adjust the taps to clean up the wake. Typically I find 10.8-11 and taps at 3-4 to work best with my weight set up but everyone weighs there boats differently and you need to find the speed and taps setting that works best.

      For instance I used one of chpthrils L shaped custom sacs this past weekend. I had to totally rearrange my speed and taps from what I normally run even though it was similar weight. I had to end up adding more weight to the nose than I normally run but the wave was even better than it has been in the past.
