    2009 22ve Original Price

I was winterizing my 22ve and came across the original owners bill of sale (out the door including tax in Alabama).

It has the Alpha Z, bimini, mooring/travel cover, board holders, sub woofer upgrade, boatmate trailer, but no factory ballast. It seems he paid, in fall of 2010, $49,900.

Was this what they were going for or did he get a great deal on a year old boat that hadn't sold?

    Wow!!!!

I think he got a smoking deal. In fall of 2008, I was offered what was supposed to be an extremely smoking deal for an RZ2, and it was substantially more than that. The economy was in the tank badly at that time, but I am still a little surprised that it went for that cheap. Although I have found that when people find out I am in a highly compensated profession, the price usually goes up instantly.
    Be excellent to one another.

I sure as heck hope not. I just paid $ 44k for my 09 in March and I thought that was a pretty good deal considering what else is available. That was also Canadian....but still.

I think smoking deal... I bought My 2009 22Ve in June 2009 so a paid the higher economy cost and summer cost and ordered mine custom loaded with every single option. He picked yours up in the fall of 2010 so close out end of year deal on a left over boat. I would say GREAT BUY!

Bought a 2009 RZ2 early in year (January) and I paid quite a bit more than $50k. Smokin' deal above.

I had a dealer offer me basically the exact same deal at that exact same time. A leftover 2009 22Ve for right at $50K, full warranty, etc. in the fall of 2010. I didn't move fast enough and it got away, which is why we got our 24Ve instead (also a leftover 2009). So while it WAS unquestionably an awesome deal, it was not unique. I'll say it again: Leftovers are THE way to buy a new boat!

for comparison, my '12 pretty much fully loaded minus tower speakers and board racks(but came with heater/shower.. wierd) was $60.

I paid more than that for my 2007 22VE. It didn't have factory ballast, but had just about every other option except the shower.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

If that is what the original owner paid for that boat, I think I'm going to be sick. I paid way, way more than that for my 2009 22ve.

It definitely is what he paid, a signed bill of sale.

I thought I really beat him up for it 10k less than that 3 years after he got it... I guess he didn't do that bad.

It can take some searching and phone calls, to be sure. But to save tens of thousands of dollars, I can spend some time on the phone.
