    Nice looking boat, Congrats!
That looks like the shop mechanic barry and yes he is meticulous. I didn't even know he owned shoes!! LOL He was in and out of my boat numerous times and you couldn't even tell.

Thanks Dandy, I've been bouncing off the walls since I got the water test picture. I'm sure I won't sleep hardly at all. The weather is supposed to be sunny and mid 80 all weekend. Boooyah.

Great looking boat! Love the colors! Would have done the same scheme if I ordered from factory.

Looks cool. AVX is in production quicker than what they were saying then. Last I heard they were looking at November/ December for full production.

nice boat, similar color combo to mine. When you get a chance, it would be great to see some detailed pics of the avx (underneath how it's sealed, from the back to see the lifting/lowering mechanism, etc). Thanks

It's interesting comparing the different versions of the AVX.....

Bad05, anything different other than the logo?

Also got information from Jean, the surf X ballast in the Z1 is only 2600 lbs. It's definitely better than the previous pro ballast, but is still lacking with only one person in the boat. If they would've put the same rear sacks in the Z1 that's in the Z3 it would've been perfect.

                            AVX operation info.
AVX at any setting auto retracts above 15mph. AVX won't move below a certain speed like 5mph. AVX cannot be moved while on the trailer, if you want it down on the trailer, you have to set it before you hit the no wake at your ramp. I want it down to clean etc.. So you can set the AVX position while running back and when you slow down it will go to the set point.

The remote is cool, you can see the AVX move with each button press and you can feel the wave change under you. What's really cool is how radically you can change the wave without touching the ballast setup and the wave stays clean.

The VX is definitely pulling the back of the boat down, as we would speed up from 10.6 to 11.5 the inclinometer would show the pitch changed from 11 to 12. The wave would get harder, lose no height, and the board would speed up with the boat with no balance change on the board, it was so crazy.

Tige Touch 2 is incredible, so fast, responsive, easy to operate. We used the boat on a Sunny day all day long and never noticed any difficulty seeing the screen.

The Raptor Engine is a beast, power for days. It's almost like driving an electric motor, power everywhere. Very fuel efficient. 2 days mixed usage, but mostly surfing averaged 4gph both days.

                                trace,

I don't know if there is anything different than the logo, but doubt it. Both designs look cool in my opinion but more importantly, function the same! The parts on the current models are arriving at the factory in small shipments as they are available to keep production rolling and I assume the design was modified for faster production? The Surf X ballast was designed to optimize the performance for "most" users from what I remember. That being said, weight can always be added via different bags, hard weights or obviously more people. I agree the new AVX is awesome and the Coanda Effect definitely pulls the boat down and creates that extra push with a super clean face! Touch2 is such an improvement and I agree completely on the Raptor engine, even in the fully loaded Z3!! You can see in the last picture, he is actually watching the AVX move as he adjust it with the remote in his pocket....pretty cool to see but even better to feel the change while riding!
