Props To The RZ2 over the weekend!

I have a 2013 RZ2, and have never had any problem with the exhaust smell. I see the post of the freshwater exhaust on here occasionally, and have ignored them since I have the Convex VX. However this weekend I was on my brothers swim platform of his 2012 Nautique Super Air trying to teach my nephew to wakeboard. In the middle of teaching him i had to get on the boat started feeling sick from the smell of exhaust. He had actually said he noticed the smell was strong on the back. Needless to say he said he will be getting the fresh water exhaust installed over the winter, since he has two little ones.

I am a firm believer of the FAE. Just keep in mind that when sitting still with the engine idling or at no-wake speed, it will likely have little impact on the exhaust fumes in regards to standing on the swim platform. Also, the deadly exhaust gas, CO, is colorless, oderless and tasteless. So not smelling exhaust, doesnt necessarily mean there is no danger.
