Help! Boat won't start! 350 mag mpi

Hello guys, new to this site..
I had just replaced the fuel/water separator and now the boat won't start.. I filled the the filter with gas also. Boat would run for like 30 seconds and then shut off. Now it just won't start.. Anything I can do to prime the lines? 2000 350 mag mpi..

When I had that boat, I had a similar problem. It ended up being the ignition coil. You should check the distributor for corrosion and change the plugs while your in there.

I had just replaced to plugs due to flooding the motor because I got water in the trans and I also just replaces the oil cooler and changed the oil. I was just replacing the filter because I was right there.. The boat has about 250 hours on it..

Have you checked for spark?

Haven't checked for spark but I will later on today... I know there is air in the lines and these fuel injected motors are sensitive wit air in line..

You can purge the air by hitting the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. At least that's how I did it.

Already tried to purge the air by hitting the schrader value and no luck..

Just did this on my buddies Tige, hit the purge valve on the left side fuel rail, cycle the fuel pump a few times bleed all the Air till only fuel is coming out

Do you hear the fuel pump cycle when you turn the key to the on position?
