    2015 Tige ASR @ Surf Expo

    So I had the opportunity to check out the new ASR... have to say it is pretty impressive... the color combination was pretty classic and cool at the same time. Enjoy the pics. The storage in the transom is really great, can easily fit 2 boards, a few tubes, life vests or whatever you would want to store back there.

            Yes, it surfs. Here are some pictures with the ASR and a prototype of the AdaptiVX system. This is with a bit more than stock weight, not so good weather. As long as the production VX works as good as this prototype, its gonna surf.

              Is that a whole different type of TAPS plate?

              Be excellent to one another.

                Its interesting that a hull very similar to a G23 would benefit from a plate the same or very closely shaped to the one found on a G23. I am not trying to say anyone copied anyone as we all know that Tige used the plate first, but similar design benefits from another similar design.

                        How are we defining a "bit" more? and is the additional weight in addition to the 3000lbs stock under the floor or in addition to the new surf x bags?

                              @RZRCO23
                              I think we added like 750-1000 to one side, but the other the bags were not completely full, so we were around 3500 lbs total.

                              @wicked
                              I would never show pictures that would not be representative of the wake or of video of the wake. You are suggesting that the video would show a different story? I have plenty of video of that time and will be happy to share when I get home. I haven't shared til now because I didn't want to give anyone the impression that the ASR made a wake like that until the equipment came out that we were testing. These pictures and video were taken from 2/27 - 3/2 2014.
