    Tige Australia

I was browsing Tige videos on Vimeo and came across the videos of the reunion's in Australia. Does anyone know why everyone down there seems to own R20's and RZR's? Do they have size restricted waterways or is that just what everyone like or what? Just wondering.

Most likely for shipping/transportation. The narrower beam of those boats will fit in standard shipping container and the 8'6" beam would not.

I am sure the cost is much more as well due to shipping. Plus not certain but most trucks over there are not full size.

        Hi,

I am 1 of the Aussie RZR owners.

There are many factors in why the RZR/R20 is so popular here.

Main reasons would be the following:

we have tow a fair way to use the boats as a lot of the water ways are not near our major towns…min 1.5hrs for me.

We use ours mainly in a river that instant very wide so the more nimble the boat the better.

cost, as it is about an extra $5k just in shipping because they fit into a container.

Wake surfing isn't big here but is growing

RZR/R20 is a more family friendly boat, in that it does everything.

Tow vehicles aren't as big here

Thats just a few but if you want to know any more just ask away
