Here are the pictures I have of ours. The only suggestion I would have is to make sure you leave enough fabric for the opening. I think that ours was too tight. It caused the board traction to rub against the speaker tower mount and started to wear away. So I had to put a towel/rag under the boards for added padding. I do not think the boards would ever fly out of the Bimini at boating speeds so there is no reason to make it extremely tight.

Because the material of the factory Bimini is Sunbrella the local guy was able to match the color. I have seen other owners use mesh to deter having a wet Bimini, but to be honest the sun usually dries out the material quickly. The black material was a padded somewhat sticky surface, which helped keep the boards secure.
