Man, between the wiring and the software update I'll buy you a case and pull you all day into the night so we can use these lights!

That explains why it came on with the courtesy lights, its the back light for the transom stereo remote.

Well I got to excited. I plugged two seablaze 3 lights in and must have blown a fuse somewhere. The main fuse is not blown? Is there another somewhere? It only looks like the one, and that dedicated 15 amp underwater circuit should have been plenary good for it.

You don't happen to know if tiges use more than one fuse per line somewhere do you? The underwater fuse is good, but the lights now are not getting power?

Did they work to begin with? Break out the volt meter and work backwards. I would also disconnect the lights and test them with a 9V battery.

Looking at the schematic, there appears to be a 3A fuse inline. That probably popped with both SB-3's wired up.

Oh they do use multiple fuses , darn should have sent you the diagrams , they are in my office , will do it tommorow morning , note , have you tried putting them directly to a 12v source , and what's the draw on those babies

Chpthril and togrady , that would explain a lot , I have said this before and I will say it again , tige's have fuses everywhere, will email those diagrams tomorrrow , you have my word !!.

Chpthril, it seems that tige put the transom light wire in the anchor light spot on the fuse box. The anchor light only has a 5 amp fuse, that is now blown. The underwater light fuse is 10 amps. Can I put a 10 amp fuse in the anchor fuse spot and be ok?

Probably, yes. But, is it possible to swap the outgoing leads, so each fused output is powering what it was intended to? I would hate to an excessive load on a PCB trace that wasnt designed for.

Yeah, good call. I'll do that.

Sorry, one more question to the panel of experts. I blew the fuse in a 3 amp relay that is inline with the lights. Is that all the underwater light circuit can handle, or can I replace that one with a bigger relay or fuse? The fuse at the fuse box is 10 amp fuse.

That was it, Is that a relay or fuse? At the box it is 10A fuse. The seablazes draw 2.7 per light. I put two in. Sorry for the ignorance.

My guess is if that's an 18 gauge wire you could put in a 10amp dues but if each seabreeze is 2.7 amps , it eqauals 5.4 amps , put in a 6 amp fuse , what do you thing chp ?
