I nearly got pummeled this weekend, by three obvious steroid muscle heads. My wife didn't like their boat ramp etiquette, nor did I, but she decided to express her feelings to them.

When the driver slammed his Durango in park and all 3 simultaneously ripped off their seatbelts, I knew (being the only adult male on my "team") I was in trouble.

Luckily they calmed down when they saw my "guns" or maybe it was my wife telling them they needed to be a good role model to the 5 yr old, sitting in the back seat of their car. We exchanged a few more words and they drove off.

My wife later apologized for nearly getting me killed. Thanks, Honey.

I think it's time to change my name to Lucky 276

Well I can see both sides to the stories here. I know that I have the loudest system on my near by lakes, and yes I do let everyone know it. When I'm parked at the party area chilling we tend to listen to it quite loud and have fun. I figure that I'm 27, have worked my butt of to pay for my boat and system and I want to enjoy it.

When I'm wakeboarding again I will blare the music, as long as there is no one around. However, that being said, if you cut me off, or the fisherman decides to take the smoothest part of the lake, that I was there first I'll still blare it.

There are tons of idiots out there, and I have had to put my boat infront of my downed skiers and boarders. I really wish everyone had to get a liscense ane at least learn about boats.

I really hate jetskiers trying to jump my wake. Last weekend one was so close I stopped and yelled at him. They are the real problem. anyone can get one and put it on the water. Lake patrol is having a hay day on busting them, but there are just too many and not enough good guys.

I guess what I'm saying is that if i'm in a boat full of my younger friends, and we are around younger boats, welisten to music loud, but if it's a quite area, or older crowd, my music goes way down. Problem with lakes around where I live, is there are no "Secret" spots, it's never smooth, and always rough

        Music and stuff

Glad to hear some of you younger ones acknowledge this kind of stuff. I really don't mind the music that much, but there are times it is inappropriate and should be kept to a minimum.

Sadly some of you are correct. Any moron with cash (probably credit and maxed out up to their arz) can buy a boat and go. No formal training are knowledge of even the simplest of water rules. Enough people will die that local and federal gov't will need to be more involved, or as we see many times, lakes become off limits to boats like ours. We need to police our own before this happens. I know, my winters are filled with snowmobiling and we are losing riding land every year.

I agree. I have noticed lately that no one waves back. I really hate that. I mean just because your on the water doesn't mean you have to be a snob. Now I'm not expecting fishermen to wave, because they do hate anyone on the water except fishermen, but anyone else on the water we are all out doing the same thing, relaxing, wave. I have pulled so many boats in due to problems it's sad. They better wave next time!! Not like it matters, i'll still pull them in, it's bad Karma not to, and I don't want any of that

Keep on listening to your loud music, just do so when it's appropriate

Oh yeah, I forgot. I got flipped off the other day by a guy that beached his boat. He was mad because my wake was making his boat come off the shore. Maybe he shouldn't beach it in the only somewhat smooth part of our lake? Anyone else think I was in the wrong?

Just what exactly did he think was going to happen on the only smooth water? It's called an anchor Jackass. I've done the exact same thing and when a few boats showed up it was time to shove off. It's not rocket science.

            Meanwhile, back at the original thread topic;

            Dyldebus-

Did I mention, sick ride Dude. When do we get to see the rest of the install?
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

thanks guys, I'm hooking up this weekend so I'll get a few more pics of the amp locations and I'll get a shot of the sub box so you can see how huge it is. Our installer here is amazing and he built it inside out to fill up the entire space on the starboard side. The only internal speakers I have are up front at the moment. I'm working on one more amp (where to put it??) and 4 more 6x9's in the rear seating.
