2011 r20 convex vx price

Spoke to a dealer up here in Canada a couple of days ago and he said to retrofit the convex vx and add the platform would be $4500.00 - does that make sense or very expensive? I would love to add it to my boat but not for $4500.00 as I am fairly happy with my surf wave. Just wondering if anyone has any input on this or has retrofitted a 2011 boat and at what price?

Yes this is the price for a pre 2012 boat. The swim deck brackets changed in 2012 so you have the cost of the vx and a new platform and you have to pay for gelcoat work so the new brackets can be installed on the transom.

RZRCO is correct. 2012 and new have the same brackets and its basically a old off and new on kind of set up. With a pre 2012 or any R20 for that matter(they have the old free floating bracket) its a in-depth process. $4500 sounds a little high but not to much.
