Just like rt2439 I'll be happy to read tips on that model. Mine's a 2001 2300V.

Yep, it's got the tower everybody hates. I checked it closely for cracks & it seems fine so far. Anybody have a lead on a bimini for it? I assume I'll have to have a custom one built at a local canvas shop.

TAPS isn't working & the trailer brakes are clunky so I've got my 1st couple of projects lined up already. Overall it seems great, though.

Welcome and great looking family, you've landed on a great forum and owners site, I will tell you it's worth owning a tige just based on mla's (chpthril) input and waboating for knowledge, sorry I'm not much help but look up those guys and listen carefully. I will be having chpthril hook up my boat over the winter(hopefully) just on principle and if I bought a new boat, which I might, it would be a new tige just bc of these guys as the other sites are not as helpful in a hobby that requires newbies to be schooled quite a bit

Nice ride! I picked up my 2001 2300v this spring and it has been an awesome surf boat so far. I replaced the tower but I could have lived with the Metcraft for a while. Perfect Pass is the best upgrade I have made thus far (much cheaper than marriage counseling). X3 on MLA for ballast.
