    2 bilge pumps?

This is probably a dumb question but do the new 2014 boats have two bilge pumps? I know there is one in the rear behind the engine but I believe there is one in front of the Vdrive? I would check my boat but its being serviced right now. I thought I remember seeing one in there the last time I poked my head in there.

Yes! My 2014 Z3 has two bilge pumps. The one by the V Drive is the auto bilge and the one in the rear runs off the Tige' Touch switch.

Ok so the front one near the V drive is only automatic and cant be turned on by Tige touch?

They may both run off the Tige Touch, but the one by the V Drive is the auto.. On a Z3 the low point of the boat is the V Drive.

Thats the low point on just about any V-drive tow boat.

Mine has two but I think it was an accident. I wired them to both work from the TT or auto.

I suspect what happened is my boat is a mid 2013 and they drilled the 4 holes in the back by mistake (the 2014s have 4 through hulls). So they put two side by side pumps in the back

My 14 RZ4 has to pumps and I believe that they are both auto. I will have to check that tomorrow afternoon.

Imhop, one of the first mods most new owners should do is swap the stock bilge pumps for higher capacity (e.g., 1200 gph) pumps.

I am glad there are multiple pumps in new models.

Verified with Tony Fussell and they do have two bilge pumps. One in the rear and one in front of the V drive.

I would want both to be both manual and auto. On plane, the aft pump will get some water, especially surfing, while at rest, the midship pump will collect water.

Ya agreed. I know the rear is both, just wasn't too sure about the front one since its not working.

I'm pretty sure the front is auto only, you can turn it out manually by lifting the lever on the front to check if it is working. I had some water right by it but not enough to kick the pump on and all I did was reach down and pull up the lever on the front side of the pump.
