    Tige 2015 Z3 build with raptor 400

Here are some pics of my 2015 Z3 I just had built and took delivery of it this past weekend at the Midwest Tige owners reunion. The whole build process is an excellent experience as the dealer and tige are on spot with everything from start to finish. I know there has been a lot of talk on here about the Raptor motor and myself have never been a ford fan by any means, but let me tell you this raptor engine produces!! I only did the 400hp as I knew I didn't need more coming from my 340MP which had plenty of power, but a touch of the throttle and this thing is on plane and flat moving!! Quiet compared to many of the other engines in past also. Indmar has spent around 2 years developing this setup as they knew gm was backing out of the marine market so I personally am not afraid of what this engine can and will do.

The tige touch is all new on these as most have seen and the ballast hoses and pumps are bigger than in past and fill quite quickly. NO they aren't a quick NSS type system but let me tell you this 15 Z3 has a huge super clean wave behind it with the convex vx! My wife and I couldn't believe the pocket length and height, almost scary how big it is and I had a lot of wave behind my overweighted 22ve. The "surf X" package nets this boat with a larger sac than past years as it goes halfway up under the seats and I believe they hold around 1200-1300lbs. The zero off is an excellent addition also, and I know the pros that I spoke to this weekend that rode in my boat loved it also!

At this point I only have 10hrs on it but am loving everything this boat has to offer. Spent a few minutes speaking with tony from the factory at the TO reunion this past weekend and he is excellent In customer service and appreciation and the guys at the tige factory are extremely dedicated to what they develop and send out of the factory. Again thanks TIGE for developing a BADA## quality boat. Hope the pics and info helps anyone hesitant about buying the new 15 lineup!

Here it is leaving the factory behind dealer pickup. Obviously not on my trailer as the trailer was still being built.

I knew that I should've video as someone would ask and sorry LOTO was very busy and 2 kids in boat didn't get any. Will definitely get this weekend at our local lake where it is calmer and will post. All I can say is my wife was able to stay in the pocket even when meeting large yachts on LOTO so it has plenty of push for sure. I will try to get more pics of TT also if anyone is interested.

For those curios about the slalom wake it does just fine also. Has a little swell in the middle when 15 off but nothing a good skier can't compensate for.

Is it me or are those speakers mounted minus the Tige beauty collars?

                Good looking boat, congrats.

can you take pics of where the VX meets the hull to show if the VX is sealed to the hull, as described in some of ragboy's posts? Looks like the VX is at a much steeper angle that the 2014 version (gap between VX and swim platform is uniform from fore to aft). Also pics of the wakeplate would be great, to see if they incorporated the changes to that as well.

                  Thanks, great looking boat!

Just backed in the garage and can't get to back but yes it does have a rubber seal between the convex and really isn't meant to be taken off like older models. It is tilted up a bit but not sure on degree it helps so the boat can sit lower in water when weighted less drag that way. The taps plate is also flat now. Like I said they have spent countless hours at the factory trying to perfect things on the 15 model. The ASR VX is still in the design process as they don't want to release something that isn't up to "TIGE" standards. Will get pics when I can for you.

Thanks. You will love the blue it really stands out. What other colors have you chosen to offset it? I did all but maybe 3 options possible and am very happy with the boat. I love the posidion flooring it dries instant and kids can eat in boat without worries. They spilled crackers in it and a simple flick in the wind with the entire mat cleaned it. it isn't the most easy on on your knees but the hotter it is the better it feels on feet as it softens.

Thanks! Interested to see if the rubber seal on the VX is like weatherstripping where the VX and platform can still be removed, or if it's like caulking where it's more "permanent" but could still be removed and caulking reapplied.

Here are some pics of rear I can't get to back of boat very well in my garage! damn. 22ve fit with several feet around it this thing is huge in my garage! The material is a rubber that seals it not a caulk that I can tell but I don't think I would remove it as i'm sure the rubber would never fit the same.

This is our Z3, We did the inside blue like yours and the graphite panel is going to be done in pearl. Instead of the mat we did the faux teak from sea deck. We're gonna do all the non skid in faux teak. This is our second Tige and we put over 500 hours on our RZ2 in two years.
