Finally back in the Tige family!

We picked up our 2014 Z3 last night! It's been a long process of finding a boat and we ended up spending a little more than we wanted but we are super excited about this boat. I was a little disappointed in the surf wake on our demo but last night the wake was awesome! We had 2 newbies surfing without the line! If it hadn't been for this forum telling me how awesome the wake could be I would have been hesitant about buying the boat. Thanks again for everyone's contribution to the forum. Can't wait to get more time on the boat and post up some more pics!

      congrats on the purchase.

I didnt like spending more money on the aftermarket bags but it seems to need more weight than the pro ballast package offers for the VX.
I did manage to surf just fine with the OEM propeller at surf speeds with the 350 motor and aftermarket bags.. the 1235 propeller can be added later and will cut top speed but you can get on plane fully loaded with out an issue.

Congrats! Good looking boat. What options did you get? Did you not get a bimini?

congrats nice boat! What are you doing for tower racks? Is that a 14 you built and ordered or just a leftover? Are you attending the reunion this weekend?

Nice boat - congrats! I see you purchased from Joe at Performance Marine. He will definitely take care of you and his mechanic, Barry, is top notch. Looks like you have a new wave of watersport athletes there - I'm sure they will love learning behind your new Z3. Do you boat at LOTO?

Thanks! It has the 6.0 motor, pro ballast, surf bimini (coming), standard racks, posiedon mat, 2 under water lights, etc. We were thinking about putting some color on the graphics but now we are thinking we like it the way it is. We will be at LOTO some during the week but most weekends will be at Bull Shoals. Long drive but amazing water. All 3 kids are wakeboarding but no surfing yet. My middle daughter took a nasty face-plant yesterday but she is ready to go again.

Nice options - should be a great boat for your family. The same thing happened to my middle daughter when she was starting out - caught an edge when landing and her face smacked the water. We could hear it over the engine noise - that'll get you to circle back in a hurry.

We have a condo at the 35mm which has pretty good water in the mornings before 9. I was slalom skiing the main channel last Sunday morning.

Brent we stayed at the 34.5mm earlier this yr for brostock and loved that end of the lake. very peaceful unlike most think about LOTO. Are you going to be at the event this weekend? If so I'd like to meet up and have a ski session with you. Not too many slalom skiers out there anymore. Kinda a lost art!

What did you decide on that ASR you were looking at?
