I have the 350 engine in my 2014 RZ2, we surf 95% of the time (5% tub or wake sledz) but last week I went and pulled my 1st wakeboarder (a semi pro here at the lake) and could barely get the boat on plane (both front's full with 25% in the rears and 5 people in the boat) and he was maybe 150lbs wet and everyone had to go to the front of the boat to get it to plane. This weekend I tried pulling a typical dad (just over 200lbs) and could only get the boat past 15mph once so he pretty much just got pulled behind with no wake and we only had 2 kids (both 8 years old) and 2 adults in the boat. Pretty embarrassing as they are well connected in the boat world and he warned me about buying Tige. At 1st I thought it was maybe the cruise control but I clicked it off and the engine revved liked no tomorrow but nothing past 15mph……and then today I had a teenager (140lbs) surfing and he asked me to see how fast he could surf behind my wave so I increases the speed control .2 mph faster every 10 seconds or so (started off at 10mph) and we couldn't get the boat to go faster then 12.4mph even with the speed set showing it was suppose tog et up to 15mph. In this case we had the front surf side full and the rear surf side full.
Should I be thinking the engine is gutless and its my fault for keeping the stock engine in it or could there be something wrong with it knowing the 3 different scenarios?
