TAPS not working, where do check if fluid is low???

I have a 2012 R20 and my Taps stopped working this weekend. I have been reading on here that this has happened to people and it's probably because the fluid is low or a solenoid is bad. Where the heck do you check the fluid to see if it's low? I know it uses ATF, but can't locate where I would put it. Thanks for the help!

pump should be behind the starboard rear compartment wall.

Here are a couple of pictures. One is with the lexan cover on and the other is with the actual pump off. The fluid is ATF and is under the pump itself. You will need to unscrew about 6 screws total to get the cover and pump off. Once off you can access the fluid level.
