Since this seems to be the listed vs. gated thread here's the Axis T22. All stock ballast filled, with 750's in the back and 1000 + 400 in the boat to simulate people weight. 10.8 mph. Video from a member on the Malibu Forum.

I will say if Tige can come up with a Surf system as versatile and effective as NSS and Surf Gate - with their new Raptor Engine, Tige Touch, their Interiors, Fit and Finish, Price Point, and Overall Style - they will be a force to be reckoned with.

^^^True, they are up there, but still cheaper than Malibu, Nautique, and Mc. They will still have to cost less than the the big 3.

Well , if they put a surf system on , they will be the most expensive , cause in Canada ,they are already more then a nautique 😭

Here is a video of the surf wave of a newly delivered to a friend 2015 Malibu 23 LSV 1.5 hours into it the new boat... worked at helping him weight it today, again I am a Nautique owner, not a Malibu owner... we can let the video do the talking

That is pretty nice wave for stock. Whats the speed and weight? Looks 10ish? Slightly listed?

Oh sorry, didn't clarify that... that is not stock ballast... I never say never but I would never post a stock ballast photo and call it good!! Every boat needs weight Two 900's in the rear, a 400 on the rear floor and 500 in the bow on top of factory ballast. Surf Gate engaged and wedge at 3 I think. Boat is level, not listed. We played with it this morning with a little more weight but liked it at this level the best so far... still more playing to do but we thought this was a pretty good wave with more push in the rear of the wave than I have typically experienced in the past and it also had what I call a nice tunnel where you can cruise from the back to front quickly without pumping... btw the ballast will all be hidden but he won't be permanently hiding ballast until 100% dialed in. The dash on this thing is like a space shuttle command center!! It is pretty cool too. I am thinking to start measuring the length of the pocket of each wave from the rear of the transom (not the swim platform) to the curl to give a better comparison and to attempt to measure the height of the wave in the middle of the pocket.... this would seem to give us all better and more accurate info.

I for one would love to see Tige come up with a surf system for the transfer and level riding aspect. If I can read in between some lines I am seeing I am thinking it is in the works.

                      meh

that's all you get with that much weight over stock? $$100 grand for that? Clean but I'm not blown away by a long shot
my midlife crisis started at puberty and I plan on enjoying it all the way to the end..

So 2700 or so on top of stock ballast? Any clue what that is? Wave is good, still not better then mine. I would enjoy trying it out though. That wave shape is better then the G23 I ride.

So with the dealer meetings over, what's new? Whatis up with the new " surf system ". Just wondering what anyone has seen or heard.

If I was Tige (which I am not) I would make a surf system. Then allow it to retrofitted to old boats. Charge 1k for it and have dealers install it for 1k or something. Dealers get to make money and so does tige Less new boats, but I think this is a perfect plan.

What has been figured out with some of you guys that retrofitted different ideas to a "surf system" on your boats. I know many of you fabricated different things and tried options to improve your wake. Did any of these work out?
