The wife an I got a chance to demo the surf gate this summer, were still a couple years out from a new boat but the local dealer had a "come check it out day," so we did. The camera angle compared to some footage I have of my RZR is about the same. This is a VLX surfgate with MLS all full and 400's in the back. Motor was a 350 and I believe the wedge was all the way down or a couple clicks up, 3 people in the boat. I would say the size and length was comparable to my RZR, but shape is definitely different when you ride it. I thought it had decent push. You can see the top of the wave is completely different from our listed boats. I did get to ride the wake but didn't get any video of me doing so. With a full crew boat would definitely need the 409 here in Denver
Here's my RZR wave. I prefer my RZR to the VLX I rode but it's what I know and I didn't have time to play with the VLX and try different set ups. I have seen clean gate waves but wasnt blown out of the water by it. I have heard the LSV is best surf boat in their line though.
