It won't eliminate, but yes, it will definitely help.

      I'm willing to try anything.

I love what the VX did for my regular wake, but I'm bummed I now can't take the TAPS below 4 on the goofy side. I've tried more weight -- front and back -- but can't seem to solve the wash issue on the goofy side.

In your report on testing multiple boats with the VX, you talked about how great the VX was for the RZ2 but mentioned you didn't have enough time to dial it in on the goofy side. Do you remember if the wash was an issue for you as well? Did you ever do any more testing with the RZ2 to try to dial in the goofy side? The reason I want to be able to take the TAPS down lower is because the goofy side wake is shorter and steeper than the regular wake, and I want to try to "mellow" it some.

Thanks for all your work on this, Robert.

Well, as you may know myself and one of my daughters is regular and then my wife and 5 of my kids are goofy. I have 4 kids still living at home and they are all goofy. So when we go out, we setup regular, I do my quick thing, and then its all goofy, so I feel your pain. ;-)

I can tell you we tested extensively on the Z3 and the Z1 and those boats are ROCK SOLID on both sides, but we haven't had the same opportunity on the RZ2 yet. I am sure tige is doing their own testing as well, but I can't speak to the RZ2. The taps plate will definitely help, and if it doesn't you can send it back and I will return the $$ minus the shipping. I will have something set up to get them by monday.

I really don't know. The one area it will help is that on most of the boats the goofy wake is steeper and you can't mellow it out like you can on regular. This taps plate allows the plate to go lower than normal, and so it allows you to mellow the goofy wake out like you can the regular.

As far as wash, my guess is that yes, it would a bit, but I don't know how much. Maybe not much at all.

It seams that a lot of people are having issues with the goofy side with the vx. My wife and I both ride goofy and my Z1 seams to throw a better wake on the goofy side it's clean on all taps settings. Guess I got lucky on that.

Same here gibbs, my Z1 throws a really sweet goofy wave with very little fuss, and responds to taps as it should.

The install is done by grinding out the rivets in the current plate, our plate lines up to the holes and you use stainless bolts and lock nuts with lock tight. This allows you to install and change back if you want, without worrying about the through hull bolts.
                          I'll take one too, Robert.

I didnt really get any pics of it when my wake system was done.. But I will tell you this Its a MIND BLOW.. I could have surfed with my damn feet it was that good.

Surfed a wakeboard =) this was middle stages of my surf system! =) This is when I was trying to get the forward Curl as big as I could as water forward gives the most forward push! Then came length and size
