I burn 6 Gallons per hour surfing and wake boarding with full ballast in my G23 with the 550hp engine.

Is that with the old tranny (1.48:1 ?) or the new 2:1? If it is the older people are claiming higher usage than the new.

How is it possible to burn 6gph in both wakesurfing or wakeboarding ?? Surfing your punching the big hole possible without planing , so most drag possible , whereas wakeboarding your generally on plane , least amount of the hull in the. Water , please explain this ?

Actually it's the opposite . You burn more fuel Wakeboarding with higher RPM and weight in the boat. When surfing you don't turn even half as many RPM's.These engines are torque monsters so they will pull the weight at whatever RPM.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

IMG_2182.jpg My Z3 was a good boat but I had a lot of little issues with it and all my family rides goofy and I ride regular side. The NSS was the main factor for the change, I love the switch sides in 4 seconds.

Could photoshop ASR on the side and no one would know the difference.

Don't want to bash the Tige but you cannot compare the fit and finish between the 2 boats but the price reflects that.

I assume you want surf? I can get a vid this weekend. Not the best "looking" wave but by far the funnest wave I have ever ridden!

HATE the high pitched whine (turbo whine, perhaps?) and the way it pulsates at higher RPM's. That and the excessive volume would be an instant deal-killer for me. Instant as in "This demo ride is over, take me back to the dock". I have a Cummins turbo diesel in my truck, so I know it's possible to build turboed engines without being so noisy.

Wow, I've listened to that clip a couple of times now. Just can't get past the sound. Does anyone actually LIKE their towboat to make noise like that?

Gentlemen. Just rode an ASR , let me tell you the G23 has a much nicer fit and finish , as well as a wake for surfing
