I have no experiance with the ASR. The Z series boats seem to be the way to go. We got a very nice and clean wave with stock pro ballast from our Z1 W/VX. I will agree with previous comments that the Z1 is a little "tippy" and is very weight sensitive side to side for wakeboarding - not sure if this is the same on the Z3. From everything I have hear/seen the Z3 with ConvexVX would be the way to go in the Tige line. In addition to that there are alot of Z3 Onwers on here that seem to be happy to help with set up. Good Luck."I think I am pretty smart for an idiot"

There are definitely some ASR out there and it would be great if we could hear feedback from them. I am also a little disappointed in Tige marketing effort for the ASR (There is still to much mystery to get excited about buying one). It would be great to have someone do a demo and video both surf waves and the wakeboard wakes. I am also interested in seeing how it will preform on bigger lakes with substantial chop such as Lake of the Ozarks and Lake Powell.

I didn't think to take a video of the wave. There was definitely a good push on the port side. As I mentioned, I can't get a consistent feel of the push on my manually weighted 24V, but it was immediate on the ASR. My daughters definitely thought it was way better than what we have been doing. They can ride our 24V wave, but felt the wave was a lot better on the ASR.
We didn't wakeboard and that is what the ASR is supposed to excel at.
I was a bit surprised it didn't feel more solid going over rougher water being almost 1000lbs heavier that our 24V, but that may be do to the pickle fork vs the deep V of a regular bow. My wife's comment was she thought our 24V rode better. Don't read too much into this as we weren't out there that long so not sure we know what we're talking about on this. Definitely feel safe with the tall height of the gunnels and the boat handles the backwash when stopping well in case you have heard of some of the issues with the G23.

Value is plenty I rode the ASR at the factory and there was zero surfable wake. If you dont agree please post video of you inside the asr then turn back to the starboard surf wake and show me its got anything to surf! So if this dood wants to surf he Needs to buy a Z3 or Z1 or my favorite so far a RZ2.

WOW - It's getting pretty deep in here. Brent was hoping to get some real world advise from some of the kind folks on here who like to help others. I like how so many times it turns out to be brand bashing. Seems that dom has a real sensitive spot when it comes to Nautiques, which by the way was not even mentioned by Brent. Stay Friendly my friends."I think I am pretty smart for an idiot"
