getting use out of an old OEM sac

This spring, I replaced the surf system rear sacs (350lbs) with a couple w004 bags from Mike. Everything is great (except for the passive draining), but I've found that I still need more weight when we only have a couple people in the boat. Particularly in the bow.

My question is has anyone reused their old OEM sacs using a loose ballast pump hanging over the boat? The sac itself has 4 proprietary-looking ports, and my concern is I won't be able to find anything to plug them.

I know buying a new bag is only $100 or so, but I'm a cheepass and want to see if I can reuse that sac.

But, the down side is, the later model OEM sacs are made in house by Tige and use a welded in hose barb thru-hull. I have not had enough down time this year, to come up with a means to convert those hose barb fittings into threaded port to accept the W731 and W749

Thanks kasey. I was just looking at the old sacs. Thpught they would take the fly high stuff. Ill be carrying them next year as I dont have alot of people in the boat

His 13 will have the bags mike describes. Its a 90 degree hose barb that is glued/ welded in place. Tough to use any other way but how they do.
