Just curious how hard it is to keep a black boat clean. Does it water spot way worse then other colors? What do you use to keep it looking good??

yes, but easy to take care of. Use a spray bottle with 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. Let it dwell 20-30 seconds (spray half of one side at a time). Water spots come right off. Follow it up with 303 Detailer or your favorite spray wax. I haven't found a specialized water spot remover that actually works...2013 Z3 - Electric blue and black

I do 50/50 vinegar and water as well, but I add some liquid Turtle Wax to the mix also. It's worked great for me over the years and is way cheaper than the others. When I had the black 24V, I used to keep some Boat Bling Transom Sauce (which I think is stronger than the Hot Sauce), and I would used that on the sloped black transom if the vinegar/water didn't quite do the job. The Transom Sauce would leave a little film, though.

Wow. Looks like I am not the only 50/50 vinegar and water guy around. I used it on all my other boats.
I have tried my own concoctions like Coop. I liked the smell of McGuires Washless Wax the best so far (overpowers the vinegar smell).

I basically make 3 bottles from 1 of the washless wax.Mods: MLA BIG Ballast System (1800+ Custom sacs, 2 500 W705 sacs under bow), Duffy Surf Flap Mod, Trimmed Swim Deck, Top-Mount Starter
